New Books

Well, I promised to get back to blogging and I haven't done a darn thing. Funny how that goes. When you're so busy with regular life that you don't get the time to sit down and blog it out.

Today I received the shipment of Resistance, The Revelations, all new and looking good, so I thought I'd jump on and have a bit of a celebration. I'm expecting great things with the re-release of my novel--Hopefully speaking engagements and opportunities for book signings.

I wonder how many people know that writing fiction is a great way to get factual information out to the masses. Many of our great resistance leaders used writing as a means of changing society's views. From Shakespear's plays to Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and even to kids fiction like the Hunger Games or Harry Potter many truths can come out in fiction. People learn the facts without feeling like its being shoved in their faces.

My book, Resistance, The Revelations, uses the mode of fiction adventure to show the truths of spiritual warfare in the world and the way progressive government works to undermine the true will of the people. I hope, besides enjoying a great, fun, exciting story, people walk away with the desire to make a difference in whatever way possible. To be able to see what's happening and how easy it is for even the cleverest and kindest among us to be swept up in the false hope of government intervention in our lives is the key to open the lock to the veil that hides real truth from us.

I often wonder if people are really ready to open their eyes and minds to the truth. Are you willing to be a part of the resistance?

Lookin' Good!

Things are looking good with the re-release of Resistance, The Revelations.

The official launch day is August 25th 2015. I will have personal copies to sign and sell by July 17th.

There's been interest by a local radio station to interview me soon, and I will be speaking about the book at the Arlington County TEA Party on July 27th.

Yesterday I got the first proof of the book video trailer, and with a bit of tweaking it will be awesome! Also, the Web Page is under construction and hopefully will be up and running soon.

Hello Again!

Hello everyone. I have been gone for awhile, but am back. I am having my novel republished with a different publishing company, Tate Publishing. I hope that with the extra marketing help I will be able to push my book all the way to the top.

With everything being in flux I don't have much to say right now, but watch this page and get ready for more of my insightful thoughts. Resistance is still dear to my heart and I fight as much as possible to make a difference.

Lost Art of Compromise

It's been a while since I've written a proper blog. Besides being busy with other things I really feel like no one's opinion really matters anymore; but, alas here I am giving it another go just to try and clear my head.

I'm sure most of us have had the "wonderful " chance to be written off by someone because our opinions happen to differ. It's a strange world we find ourselves in today. There was a time (not too long ago) where people of a different mind could sit and discuss, debate, and even get a bit heated and still walk away as friends or at least friendly acquaintances. Now, if you even ask a question that someone finds "offensive" they throw a temper tantrum and throw you overboard without a moments thought. I find myself asking, "why?"

As I've turned this thought over and over in my head I have come to the conclusion, that as that Bible says, "In the last days men (women too) will become lovers of self." It is 100% about being the smartest person in the room...couple that with a position of power (ie. president, pastor, minority group, etc.) and you have the hate-filled, fear-filled, arrogance-filled world we now find ourselves.

People have become so enamoured with the idea of self-esteem (the lifting up of ones self) and selfish desire that they no longer care about anyone else. Oh, sure, they may use all the right buzz words and do all the "tolerant", politically correct things; claim to be libertarian and freedom loving when really all they want is their PERSONAL joy. ...Sorry people, but civilization was not built on the concept of PERSONAL fulfillment, but on societal fulfillment. America was not built on the idea of PERSONAL freedom without taking into account society. There is a difference between individual liberty and anarchy.

Individual liberty is the concept of taking care of yourself and your family first and they society. It is about INDIVIDUALs working together for the betterment of the whole. Anarchy is the concept of I'll do what I like and you do what you like and the hell with society. As long as I get my way that is all that matters. Both rely on the individual having their own private property, but while anarchy is about self, individual liberty is about responsibility. One cannot have a free country without laws for the betterment of society. There must be rules and punishments. While anarchy and libertarianism sounds really good it neglects the fact that while somebody is having their way it is still at the expense of others.

Now I'm sure with my previous paragraph I'm going to be called a socialist or communist, but I say who cares what someone wants to label me. I've been labeled much worse believe me. However, taking care of society on and individual basis is not socialist. Government taking care of society is socialist. Our founding fathers were mostly Christians and even those who weren't saw the value in the ten commandments

True liberty comes from making rules that benefit everyone and then letting them create what they will. Not promising equal outcomes, but equal opportunities. It seems today that no one wants equal opportunities. Women want special exceptions for them. People of different colors want exceptions for them. People of different sexual orientation want exceptions for them. The poor want exceptions for them. The rich want exceptions for them. The list goes on and on and on.

What if we truly made a level playing field? A place where you got the job because of what you were willing to do? No gender, no color, no past life troubles? Just a place where people who work hard got the job? People who want to work only 40 hours a week (or 30 hours as the democrats have decided is enough to live on) would still get mad at the boss who works 24/7 and makes way more money. People who work at jobs that don't take a lot of skill would still get mad at those who got a proper job related education or had worked their way over many years and make way more money. People who waste their whole paycheck on beer and cigarettes instead of putting that money into savings or investments would still get mad at people who scrimp and save and have more than them because of fiscal responsibility.

We have become a world of takers. A world where it should be our way or no way. We live in a world where compromise doesn't exist...not because there aren't people who are willing to compromise, but because the people willing to compromise always get screwed over. Compromise has become the art of whoever can make the other side look like hateful bigots so they can force them to give in. I think people are so sick and tired of being told what to do and what to think that we now simply throw away people who don't 100% agree with us.

The problem with that is we never learn anything. In the many discussions I have had with people I disagree with (whether it be politics, religion, child raising, school choice, etc.,) is that usually we have the same goal...even the same idea. We just see it from a different vantage point: different life experiences. I have learned that while I may not change my mind or they might not change their mind, we do have common ground. There is more to their point of view than just stupidity (for lack of a better term).

If we would take the time to listen to others instead of instantly judging them we just might see that we actually have more in common than we thought. We might be able to find a middle ground, while still holding to our firm held opinions, beliefs, or faith. As it is now, though I fear our whole world is just lost. It doesn't matter if you are the one willing to listen or discuss if most everyone else is just going to yell and stomp their feet. It seems today the only way to be heard is to be the loudest most vial voice on the playground. Problem with that is most people who want to truly listen or debate get drown out or shut out by the others who just don't want to share.

It seems to me that as a society we want to lift up people who break the law as heroes and those who follow the laws as sheep. And while it is true that we have FAR too many laws in the United States (not to mention in the EU) it is the fault of "we the people" who sat around so long in ignorance allowing it all to happen. When we had the chance to stop the over-throw of our sovereign nation's we were too busy supporting our "side" of the political spectrum that we ignored the evil that would come. Now we are reaping what we sowed...but nothing can change if we stick to our ideological parties and don't try and find some kind of common ground. Stop all the "comprehensive" nonsense and start making small changes that we can agree on. If we don't stop the blocking and the tossing out and the ignoring of differing views we will perish as a free society. We are already only semi-free if even that.

I believe that the only saving grace we have is in God: Yahweh. A change of our hearts is what is needed. A coming together of the church/churches is needed. To stop throwing away good people because of one or two disagreements is imperative. Even if you don't believe in God, opening your mind to believers is not a bad thing. Our laws, after all, were founded on the Judeo-Christian principles of loving your neighbor as yourself.

We need to resist the schemes of the world and try and come together as people again instead of little groups of individuals stuck neatly into boxes...and as this is a blog to promote my book I will shamelessly do it here.

Read Resistance, The Revelations and find hope for the truth.

Resist...

I sat down to write a blog today, and realized I really don't have anything to say. Not that I don't have A LOT to say, but I don't know what to say. I started the blog to try and get interest in my book, but then again I didn't really write the book with the idea of publishing it. I just enjoyed the writing, and the people who read the draft encouraged me to publish it, so I did.

Seems like all the important things I have to say are in the book... the idea that a global world order wants control of all people it self evident these days; but the purpose of the book was to show how it's really nothing new (as in the New World Order or the New Age Movement), but simply the power that demons have craved since their fall, and how they've used man to accomplish their ends. The book is about the power of prayer over the forces of darkness and how a small group of people willing to put it all out there can make a difference. ...It's just that perhaps the difference we make is not going to be in the world, but in the hearts of others. Only by a change coming from within a person's soul can any lasting change be made in the world.

Our hearts have grown cold. We no longer want to help our fellow man, we want someone else to take care of them. I'm not speaking individually, but as a society. We have left God and He has left us. Hard times are coming my friends and it's not going to be our governments that help us, or our charitable organizations that are going to help us, it's going to have to be our faith in God that will help us... but I wonder how many of us will be praising God when we lose our homes; and our plentiful supply of food; and our big mega churches that cater to our every human need as opposed to our spiritual needs. Who will be praising God when the only place to meet will be in dark basements without praise bands and pot lucks and soft comfy chairs? It's easy for us to say "I will never fall away", but then again we in the West have never been tested either.

As a society we have abandoned God and His mission of feeding the spirit and saving souls, for the humanist mission of feeding bellies and neglecting souls. Modern Christians shun the wealthy and praise the poor, but how will the poor have jobs or be helped without the wealthy to supply funds? How will the poor ever climb out of poverty if there is nothing to aspire too? How is destroying the rich going to help the poor? Have you figured it out yet? It's not the wealthy that are destroying the world. It's not those who desire profit that are hurting the poor. It is the governments controlled by the New World Order (or as it should be called the Old World Order) that are hurting the poor. People who desire profit (the wealthy) end up creating business that in turn results in hiring people. People with wealth set up foundations and charities to aid the poor.

The hope and desire of the less fortunate to be able to achieve their dreams is what creates innovation. It's why I believe God put the "thou shall not covet" commandment in his law. Because coveting is what leads to all other sins... in fact it was the coveting of knowledge that incited Eve to sin. Coveting leads to putting things above God, disrespecting parents, murder, theft, adultery and lying. When you think about it, our whole society (since the Great Society) has been all about coveting what others have; giving the government the ability to enslave a generation and generations to come in the most under-rated of sins--that of taking what you did not earn (theft). Remember it says "You will reap what you sow"... it does not say "what others sow you will reap."

We must resist... and that is what my book is all about:  https://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore/book.php?w=9781681422107urchase

I'm Sick of PC Madness...

A new revolution is brewing. Its a revolution of people of all colours who love what America was meant to be. A revolution that Martin Luther King Jr. wanted: One that was not based on the colour of your skin or your sex or your religion. The silent majority is sick of being told to sit down and shut up. We're tired of being stuck in a box and told who we are.
I have been called a "tea bagger" (which in my opinion is as derogatory as the "n" word). I have been called a racist, a bigot, a homophobe, a hater of the poor, a hater of women and more just because I'm a Christian Conservative. I have never been a tea bagger (I'll let the homosexual men enjoy that title); I have never been a racist or a bigot or a homophobe (although I am tired of progressives of all colours, creeds, and sexual orientations being racist, bigotted and straigh-o-phobic to me); I have never been against the poor, I support the poor, I just don't believe in keeping them in a perpetual state of poverty and would prefer they come out of poverty; And for crying out loud I am a woman and I don't hate women, but if women want to act like men and be treated like men they better shut the hell up and start dealing. If you don't want a baby, don't have sex, but don't chop up your unborn child and suck it out of yourself. And don't expect a man who has no say in the birth or life decisions of YOUR child to pay for it if he doesn't want to. Have a little respect and keep your damn legs closed.

There is a world of resistance and revolution coming from those of us who have had enough. And it's not all old, white men or old white people. Black, Hispanic, Asian, and European Americans young and old are going to fight to get our Constituional country back. With limited laws, limited government power, and limited taxes... and if we don't then we'll all be in jails or dead and the rest of you will be slaves to your fleshly gods. The PC police have stepped over the line. Here we come

Petroleum Jelly Mr. Boehner?

I was thinking it might be nice to send Mr. John Boehner, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, and his Republican cohorts who know nothing other than capitulation to the Obama administration on tax policy and the economy a supply of Vaseline or other petroleum jelly product to help them with their constant insistence of 'bending over and taking it'.

It seems that the Republican Party has decided that being liked by the Washington, New York, and World press is more important than standing up for their "supposed" principles of lower taxes and greater economic choice for all Americans. As it is it seems that they have decided that those who already have great wealth will get to keep their money, while those who work hard and earn a living, whether it be $2000 or $2,000,000 will be forced to give a large portion of their income to a wasteful, greedy, corrupt government who will waste it on give aways to their favorite special interest groups.

...Not that this is anything new, but now that they've OPENLY sold out it's time to resist the "Party" idea and get some independent people in office. Political correctness has had it's day. It's time to go back to the mantra of "life's not fair" and deal with it. If you want something better, making others worse off is not the way to do it; hard work and being content with whatever we have is the way. I'm tired of the whole mess. Sadly, we are called to follow our leaders and be civic minded... at least until they stop following the Constitution...

Being civic minded doesn't mean WE have to bend over and take it though. Check out my first novel.

A good vs. evil story about resisting the evils of corruption in the world, spiritual realm, and governments. The re release will be available in August 2015.

5.0 out of 5 stars Resistance is Riveting, March 28, 2012
This review is from: Resistance: The Revelations (Paperback)
From the first paragraph in this book, you are pulled into the characters and the plot which continues to twist and turn, bringing unsuspecting characters together. Ms. Bishop's vivid writing allows the reader to visualize the spritual forces that are present everyday around us. The futuristic plot will make you think twice when listening to today's evening news and wonder if Resistance gives a glimps of what our not-to-distant future may be. Reading the last page I realized I wanted to continue the story..what happens next? I am hoping Ms. Bishop is working on a sequel! Resistance was a great read!
