Petroleum Jelly Mr. Boehner?

I was thinking it might be nice to send Mr. John Boehner, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, and his Republican cohorts who know nothing other than capitulation to the Obama administration on tax policy and the economy a supply of Vaseline or other petroleum jelly product to help them with their constant insistence of 'bending over and taking it'.

It seems that the Republican Party has decided that being liked by the Washington, New York, and World press is more important than standing up for their "supposed" principles of lower taxes and greater economic choice for all Americans. As it is it seems that they have decided that those who already have great wealth will get to keep their money, while those who work hard and earn a living, whether it be $2000 or $2,000,000 will be forced to give a large portion of their income to a wasteful, greedy, corrupt government who will waste it on give aways to their favorite special interest groups.

...Not that this is anything new, but now that they've OPENLY sold out it's time to resist the "Party" idea and get some independent people in office. Political correctness has had it's day. It's time to go back to the mantra of "life's not fair" and deal with it. If you want something better, making others worse off is not the way to do it; hard work and being content with whatever we have is the way. I'm tired of the whole mess. Sadly, we are called to follow our leaders and be civic minded... at least until they stop following the Constitution...

Being civic minded doesn't mean WE have to bend over and take it though. Check out my first novel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Resistance is Riveting, March 28, 2012
This review is from: Resistance: The Revelations (Paperback)
From the first paragraph in this book, you are pulled into the characters and the plot which continues to twist and turn, bringing unsuspecting characters together. Ms. Bishop's vivid writing allows the reader to visualize the spritual forces that are present everyday around us. The futuristic plot will make you think twice when listening to today's evening news and wonder if Resistance gives a glimps of what our not-to-distant future may be. Reading the last page I realized I wanted to continue the story..what happens next? I am hoping Ms. Bishop is working on a sequel! Resistance was a great read!
